Outlook 2010 "inbox" stop updating automatically (exchange 2010)

I've tried running the repair utility on both the server side and the client side.....it does not find any issues with the OST or the mailbox on the sever  (exchange 2010)

all sub folders under the inbox updates normally, the inbox main folder will not.

I tried setting the "send receive" option to 2 minutes, also no luck.

I have to either close and re-open or under the send receive tab choose "update folder"

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Kasee

Check to see if "Encrypt Data between Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange" is selected.  If so, try disabling it and test that way; also what is the authentication method set to?

If you set auth to negotiate and have encryption off, does the problem persist?

Hi Kasee,

Please also check whether the issue happens in OWA. If you can see the items in your Inbox using Online mode or OWA and you cannot see them in your Cached mode profile, here is a detailed KB about it:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2330226/en-us

If the message cannot be synchronized down from mailbox, we can refer to the following KB:

Thanks,
